Helping on the Grandparents farm

I've been spending the last few days helping around the farm. These past few days my mother and I have been cleaning stuff out of the old house. Man that is tough work, running up and down the stairs carry boxes so the rest of the family can see what is theirs in the pile of items. I'm just glad to have the upstairs cleaned out and most of the kitchen done. Now its time to have rest of the family to get their items out. So I wish them luck on that. Now today I get to do some homework as so as tomorrow as I take time off from chores.  Then Monday will probably be my last day here this week, cause I really do miss home and my friends. So I'll try to keep my mind off of them which is likely not going to happen.

Missing my Norwegian friends Ingrid and Trude

Every day they have been gone life has been kind of sad. Those few months that I have spent with those two was the greatest time of my life. Now in four weeks I will get to see them again, and I can't wait for that trip to start. Hopefully they'll show me a good time in Norway cause we had a fun time here in Utah.

In memory of Calvin

Even though its a few days after Calvin's birthday which was the 23rd, he would be 55 years old. I still can't believe he is gone. Its been almost 5 years since he pasted away. I miss him everyday and still wish he could be here and be my dad. We had great times even though we fought at times but I guess that's how it went with a teenager and his dad. Football still isn't the same without him. I believe that he and my mother has made me into the great young man I am today. I just want to thank them and I want to say I love them.
